Indicator notes
Dentists (FTE) per 100 000
Indicator code: E992723.T This indicator shares the definition with the parent indicator \"Number of dentists (FTE)\".
A dentist (or stomatologist) is a person who has completed university-level studies at a faculty or school of dentistry (stomatology) and who is actually working in dental care, or a physician with postgraduatetraining in stomatology practising dental care only.
The number of working hours per week varies between countries, but normally should not be less than 35 hours.
The number of FTE should be calculated by adding the full and appropriate proportion of part-time occupied posts._
